Purpose of the Role
This role does two jobs that share one aim: to fill the workshop and keep every client coming back.
Inside the building, the job holder leads service reception day by day. They own the client's aftersales experience from the first call to the handover of the car, and the follow-up after it.
Outside the building, the job holder wins new aftersales business that is not reaching any official workshop today: collectors and private fleets, grey import owners, supercar rental companies and performance drivers.
The role suits a person who combines strong sales instinct with deep technical knowledge of the cars. Clients at this level trust the person who understands their car. That trust is what this role sells.
How the Role Is Balanced
Reception is urgent every day. Business development is important but never urgent. Without a fixed structure, reception will always win and new business will stop. The role is therefore built on protected time.
|
Element |
Guide allocation |
How it is protected |
|---|---|---|
|
Service reception leadership |
Around 60% of working time |
Leads the morning drop-off and evening collection peaks every working day |
|
Business development |
Around 40% of working time |
Fixed external days or half days each week, agreed with the Aftersales Manager and held in the diary |

Continuous |
A nominated senior Service Advisor deputises on reception during protected business development time |
The split is reviewed by the Aftersales Manager every quarter. If workshop volume grows to the point where reception needs full-time leadership, the business development element will be separated into its own role.
Key Responsibilities
Part A. Lead service reception
- Lead, coach and develop the Service Advisors and reception team, setting the standard by personal example.
- Manage the daily booking diary and workshop loading with the Workshop Controller, so capacity is used and promised times are kept.
- Make sure every car is ready on time, correctly invoiced, valeted and handed over with a full explanation of the work done.
- Deal personally with VIP, collector and Royal Court clients, and with any client concern, and resolve it before it becomes a complaint.
- Use technical knowledge to explain work clearly to clients, support Service Advisors on complex jobs, and check that recommended work is necessary and correctly priced.
- Make sure job cards, authorisations, warranty claims and goodwill requests meet each manufacturer's process and audit standards.
- Run client follow-up calls after every visit, report the results to the team, and agree corrective action.
- Make sure the reception area, client lounge and handover process meet each marque's retail standards at all times.
Part B. Win new aftersales business
The job holder works the target markets below in priority order. The order is reviewed with the Aftersales Manager every quarter.

Owner events, technical evenings, and referral arrangements with insurers, storage and transport providers |
- Build and maintain a database of collectors, private fleets, rental companies, clubs and performance drivers across the Kingdom.
- Identify the real decision maker for each collection, which is often the garage or fleet manager rather than the owner.
- Visit prospects in person, present the MYNM aftersales offer with discretion, and build long-term relationships.
- Carry out or arrange technical assessments of prospect cars, so proposals are accurate before they are issued.
- Prepare proposals, service agreements and quotations, with pricing approved by the Aftersales Manager.
- Convert every opportunity into a booked first visit and manage that first visit personally through reception.
- Apply the Entry Inspection process to every grey import or out-of-network car, and only accept work within the limits set by each franchise agreement.
- Pass every sales lead found during this work to the Relationship Managers, and report it.
Part C. Data, reporting and compliance
- Record every client contact, visit and opportunity in the CRM.
- Collect consent and store all personal data in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
- Report reception and business development performance weekly to the Aftersales Manager.
