Purpose of the Role
This role makes sure every car the business relies on is ready, presentable and legal to drive, and that the Managing Director is driven safely and on time.
Day to day, the job holder looks after the vehicle fleet: showroom display cars, demo cars, courtesy cars and stock cars. They check cars on arrival and before deployment, keep them clean, maintained and correctly plated, and keep the stock organised.
The job holder also acts as the personal driver for the Managing Director, which calls for punctuality, discretion and a calm, professional manner at all times.
How the Role Is Balanced
The Managing Director's schedule always comes first. Vehicle duties are planned around it so that cars are still ready when customers need them.
